Huahua is the only Chinese film company with distribution capabilities in the Middle East and Africa.

Huahua Culture Communication and Investment Co., Ltd (also known as Huahua Media, hereinafter referred as Huahua), a key cultural export enterprise in China, is one of the few Chinese companies that has global distribution capabilities. The distribution network covers the five major regions of North America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Southeast Asia. Notably, Huahua is the only Chinese film company with distribution capabilities in the Middle East and Africa.

Since 2018, Huahua has successfully released many excellent Chinese films overseas, including: tribute films My People My Country and My Country My Parents, kung fu film Ip Man 4: The Finale, comedy Detective Chinatown 3 and arthouse film Hidden Land in Northern Tibet. Huahua uses its rich distribution and marketing experience and solid overseas resources to tailor suitable distribution strategy for each film, introducing different types of Chinese stories to overseas audiences.

My People My Country was the first Chinese film to be released simultaneously in domestic and overseas market, for which Huahua devoted much effort. In Africa and Eastern Europe, only a few Chinese films had been screened in selected cinemas, and those screening mainly targeted Chinese residing overseas. Huahua made the first step of negotiating with multiple cinema chains in Africa in Eastern Europe for simultaneous wide release, and created several records for Chinese films released in Africa including number of screenings, number of attendance, box office revenue, advertising volume and media release volume.

After that, Huahua further expanded the market by introducing the kung fu movie Ip Man 4: The Finale and comedy Detective Chinatown 3 to the Middle East and Africa, which brings diversity to local audiences with Chinese movie charm.  As one of the most popular kung fu IP overseas, Ip Man 4: The Finale is a beloved choice by local audiences, and performed well on box office. At the meantime, Detective Chinatown 3 has become an icebreaker of Chinese commercial film to overseas market and audiences.
